Position Summary

Temporary faculty may teach composition, literature, creative writing, and high‑enrollment general education courses.

Instructor Responsibilities

Temporary faculty members are responsible for adherence to university policies, preparation, delivery, and assessment of lectures, office hours, assignments, quizzes, projects, and exams. All classes must be offered and meet as scheduled throughout the semester in the assigned mode (asynchronous, synchronous, in‑person, or hybrid).

Appointment Conditions

Appointment is contingent upon budget and enrollment considerations and subject to the “Order of Work” in the collective bargaining agreement. Candidates must demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States.
