About the Opportunity

The Michif Learning Programs and Initiatives Manager supports the delivery of the Ministry of Culture, Heritage and Language’s Michif language learning programs and outreach initiatives. Applying knowledge of Métis language revitalization, program development and curriculum design, the role coordinates and manages programs including workshops, courses, community grants and outreach activities.

This role oversees the day‑to‑day program operations, managing budget and contractors and ensuring the effective delivery of initiatives aligned with Ministry priorities. Working collaboratively with internal teams, Michif speakers and external partners, this role contributes to the development of accessible, high‑quality learning opportunities for citizens, communities and staff.

This role also provides guidance and coordination to a small team and contributes to the Ministry's overall language revitalization goals.
