Teacher Assistant


Job Summary: As the Summer Advantage Teacher Assistant, you are responsible for serving as a mentor to our scholars. As a constant for our scholars throughout the day, our Teacher Assistants are expected to build a strong rapport with our scholars which uniquely position them to support scholars' success throughout the day.
 

Job Responsibilities: 

+ Ability to work the entirety of the program (including attending training prior to program start)

+ Responsible for building a rapport with their scholars that supports positive behavior and providing scholar supervision throughout the day

+ Support scholar arrival and dismissal, lead breakfast and community time and escort scholars to lunch and/ or recess

+ Responsible for supporting both morning academic lesson plans and afternoon enrichment lesson plans, ensuring scholars are paying attention and engaged

+ Lead a small group workshop...
