JOB DESCRIPTION

The Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute is seeking a talented and motivated Bioinformatician with previous experience with spatial transcriptomics to perform the analysis of several datasets already generated, to work in the Endocrinology Unit. The bioinformatician will work under the supervision of Dr. Joan Gil.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will contribute to a research project focused on the analysis of spatial transcriptomics data from growth hormone‑secreting pituitary tumours causing acromegaly.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Processing, analysing, and interpreting spatial transcriptomics datasets generated from acromegaly‑associated pituitary tumours.
• Integrating multi‑omics datasets, including transcriptomic, spatial transcriptomic, genomic, epigenomic, and clinical data.
