Job Description
This Engineer 2 position offers an exciting opportunity to support a leading Transmission Line Design organization. The role involves conducting electrical clearance analysis, creating line rating information for transmission lines, and developing line design data. Additionally, the position includes providing training to junior engineers and gaining extensive experience in electrical clearance analysis of electric transmission lines.
Responsibilities

+ Perform line electrical clearance analysis to support line design, line rating, vegetation management, and estimating processes.

+ Conduct sag and tension calculations for conductor, ground wire, and fiber optic cables to ensure adequate ground and structure clearances.

+ Assess and compile the results of electrical clearance analysis, span analysis, stress/strain, and vegetation management tools into reports for Line Rating SME review.
